(AP) — Gunfire that erupted near Belmont Racetrack on the edge of New York City killed a Long Island police officer and another person Tuesday morning. Nassau County police were refusing to discuss the circumstances of the shooting, but were expected to issue a statement later Tuesday. Dirtbag already had a Murder 2 on his record...but walking around freely. He's clinging to life, and wearing Officer Lopez's handcuffs.
