green license plate

    Hey guys any answers appreciated. Heading to the RMV to register a vehicle in my name. Currently the vehicle is owned by my parents but I will be the new registered owner. Currently the car has a green plate registered to the parents. Any advice on how to keep the Green plate registered in my name?

    You can't. They won't transfer it to you. Get your red plates like the rest of us.

    Like Brion24 says, you can't transfer, RMV will give you red plates whether you like it or not

    Just trying to stay away from putting a plate bracket on the front of the car... no need to be hostile big guy..

    Please tell me where you see even the slightest inkling of hostility, big guy. Sorry you didn't get the answer you wanted, but it is what it is. Suck it up and just deal with it like EVERYONE else that once had a green plate.
