    Wow, that's actually very refreshing to read that.

    Do you have an agreement with FSC to fill any unfilled jobs? I'm sure the gun issue gets in the way, if not from FPD's stand point, then from FSC's.

    263, "at least 40 town details each day, not including Verizon, etc"...!!! what are the duties of an auxillary officer in Framingham ? did they get preference over full time officers from other towns when they were allowed to do details ? did many quit when the details were taken away ? how can they be trusted to drive around in a cruiser but not be trusted to direct traffic ?

    No they never got preference over full time police.

    And no, FSC is not eligible for details. It is all for not, AUX. have not been doing details for quite a few years now.

    Further more, the MSP has been welcomed to do details in that are called in to the PD. that includes DPW work.

    Framingham Auxillary is awesome. One lives near an elderly friend of mine. That officer keeps an eye on this person. NO asshole magazine salesmen bother my elderly friend!

    Framingham Aux. has a good bunch of people. They help us alot and never over-step. They have backed me on stops when the rest of the shift is tied up. I always welcome that. FSC backs us as well. A small neusance that they are not armed has never stopped them from landing a hand.
