When I was out in Arizona some of the speed limits were 80mph give someone the 10 your, driving 90mph before you know it. Course anywhere you go is a hundred miles away.
The story of the road is an interesting concept out of the 1800's--constructed using private funds and repaid by charging a $6 toll for one way. They pushed and paid extra for the 85 mph speed limit to help ensure they made the money back.
