BOSTON -- The sister of Richard Grossi, who was killed by an unlicensed driver in the country illegally, is “infuriated” by Gov. Deval Patrick’s entreaties toward immigration activists who oppose budget riders that would increase penalties for unlicensed driving and employing unlicensed drivers.... http://www.masslive.com/politics/in...man_killed_in_crash.html#incart_river_default
So, let them go on their hunger strike. Hell, if I were the governor I'd make a point of having the most wonderful smelling take out food delivered to my office every hour on the hour while they sat out there. No big surprise here. He has made it clear all along that he does not care about the hard working, honest, law abiding residents of this state. The governor should be working to assure those who are here legally that they have nothing to worry about because our laws will protect them and that punishing those who are here illegally is actually a benefit to all who have done the right thing. They have to be f***ing kidding. I'd be willing to bet that if the state required a license to register a car and actually punished those who drive unlicensed, unregistered and/or uninsured there would be half the traffic on the roads.
