Police: Body of 18-year-old swimmer found in reservoir

DOUGLAS, Mass. -
Police said the body of an 18-year-old swimmer was recovered from the Douglas Reservoir Saturday afternoon.
Douglas Police said they received a 911 call just after 2 p.m. from a man who said the female swimmer he was with went under the water and did not surface.
Police and members of the dive team responded a short time later and began an immediate search for the missing swimmer.
Police said the dive team located the 18-year-old female at the bottom of the reservoir in about 6 feet deep water about 45 minutes later.
She was transported to Harrington Hospital in Webster where she was pronounced dead.
The name of the victim was not immediately released.
