I don't know if they still do it, but the Vlasic Pickle Company used to send a stork pin (the stork is or was the symbol of Vlasic Pickles) to any emergency service worker (police, fire, EMS) who delivered a baby. I got one for my first, which is buried somewhere in my basement.
