I witnessed something like that on 93N a couple years ago. Tire came off a car on 93S, bounced across the median divider, and hit the hood of a minivan just in front of me. Completely smashed in the hood. Funny thing was they continued to drive like nothing happened until they finally got off the highway 3 exits up the road. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
At least they didn't "lock it up" in the middle of the travel lanes. Strange that they would travel 3 exits. Maybe they just refused to believe what had just happened. Sent from my iPhone via Tapatalk
All I could figure was maybe they were almost home or wherever they were going, so they decided just to get there before they stop to check the damage. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
Cal. Hywy Patrol lost a female officer that exact way about ten years ago. Random, fluke, accident but it does happen.
A Stop & Shop tractor-trailer lost a tire on the Fore River Bridge the other day. The truck was in the southbound lane and tire in the northbound when I went over the bridge. The S&S mechanics were still there trying to fix it when I went back over the bridge about 3 hours later.
Had a TT dually come over from the e/b side of the highway and nailed a car center mass on the w/b side. Shattered his windshield but no injuries. The thing was stuck in the roadway and more crashes were coming. I did my best Jorgensen Svensonsen world's strongest man bit and flipped the thing off to the side...for the commonwealth...all natural bro...lots of Sam Adams and buffalo wings...
Pfffft! Come on now Bro, we all know your Capt. America and "SinePari" is just your secret identity....
