It's time to get rid of those stupid Crown Vics. What a waste of money. Toyota actually knows how to make a car.

Front wheel drive, smaller engines, and less passanger space. Yup thats what I want to drive around for 24 hours a day for well over 100,000 miles hard statring and stopping from call to call on city streets!

Those "stupid Crown Vics" have saved many police officers because of their size and structure. A Toyota? NFW do I want to drive around in one of those for eight hours. Way too small and totally unproven in police work.

I agree a Camry has no right being a 24/7 police car, at least not yet. But I'm sure if they wanted to Toyota could just as easily build a car with rear wheel drive, throw a Tundra V-8 engine in it, a heavy duty tranny, brakes, etc and market it along the Crown Vic. The problem is I don't think theres enough of a market for them to invest all that money into producing a vehicle of that nature.

You'd have a better chance of taking the Millennium Falcon out on patrol. No agency in its right mind is going to fork over the kind of cash it will take to purchase Carbon's monstrosity.

Weren't there some lawsuit directed against Ford about the Crown Vic, anyway? Something about the fuel tank?

I'd patrol in this Nissan Skyline like the Japanese Prefecture police do.
