Can anyone tell me what REV/RRV stands for on a license status. I know it's obviously revoked, but dispatch had no idea what the RRV stood for and neither did I. I did a search on here but couldn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance.
REV = revoked RRV = right to operate revoked according to my cjis reference, REV/RRV = right to operate revoked kind of redundant, but that's it
There is a printable reference for the /"slash" codes, stuff like bad check, pending etc. I don't know where it is now since the help file went tits up. Those slash codes are few and far between though, I've mostly see ACT/NRE which is active/non renewable.
Johnny they're in the CJIS Extranet news file. PITA if anyone asked MY opinion - and they'd get it too!
I have been out of MA for almost two years so I may be a little rusty, but... Type CODES in the task field, then tab down to where it says Reg Status Codes or something like that, then select that box...
Thanks mtc! I'll check it out, I haven't worked the desk in awhile so I'm more than a little behind on the new stuff.
He wants to be a nice guy and only hit the guy for the hundred bucks...I'm not that nice myself. Hopefully this helps...part of my cheat sheet...I took these right off the LEAPS print out. 90-23 is the correct charge. I had a guy last month who picked up an OUI in NH, and the Mass RMV in turn, revoked his Mass DL (REV/RRV) for reciprocity.
94c was implying 90/23 is operation on a revoked license 90/10 is just unlicensed, two different statues same result :vcop::handcuff:
Same result? While I get the gist of what you're saying, I respectfully disagree, maybe with the excpetion of towing one's car. Myself, I'd rather get hit with $100 civil fine than get arriagned on a revoked, hit with a BOP entry, and lose my PAR plates.
90-10=dismissed, court costs. 90-23 Revoked (especially for OUI) means a more serious disposition...sometimes. It really depends on the court and the Judge. Bottom line is that REV means bracelets. You don't get REV for not paying a ticket, you really have to work at it.
Oh absolutely, I agree! I just thought there was confusion on the two, my bad. When its 90/23 my attitude is absolutely arrest if it some one with an expired license 1 or 2 days and he or she has a good attitude I might summons them depending on if they disturbed my coffee break or not.
Actually, you know what, my bad...I'm thinking registrations...whoops. I re-read the first thread and now feel like douche. My apologies Womp.
90/10 tends to end up 100 court cost decriminalized with no BOP. Ill take that over the 90/23 BOP entry and stiffer penalty.
Oh don't worry, he got the bracelets. He had a 14 page RMV history. Don't pay your child support = revoked license = a trip to lock up.
Once the bail clerk finds out they're revoked for child support that usually equals a nice little "fee" to get out of jail rather than just the $40PR, atleast that's what i've noticed.
