Lies. All recruits in the 4th SPMA lateraled into the MSP upon their return from the first nasty weekend. They are now the 81st RTT. Good luck to all 82nd hopefuls. Edit: Yes, even those on the SSPO track, not just the municipal guys.
He sounded pissed when I came back to the car, he said "Are you really writting me? Because I was selected for the 81st". Then I said politely of course "You almost t-boned my cruiser (89-9), twenty day to pay or appeal". His face was priceless, I seriously don't know how he missed me. The light was red for a few seconds when he blew it.

I met a lovely young thing at the Mall the other night, candidate for the 81st...I smiled, told her I hear it's very psychological as well as physically demanding... "Oh I know.... I know lots of cops... " You don't say....
