Question - Do you think you'll be called to report to New Braintree if you're a diagnosed Schizophrenic and off your meds ? LOL

    Just curious !

No rumor. The 150 is in our budget. The $ mean a June start date, unless some money is found. Since the SPA couldn't start a class until March at the earliest, I'm not sure there's going to be that much effort put into trying to start the class before June at this point.

    This.

If you can run a solid 10:30 1.5 you better damn well be able to run a consistent 8-8:30 min mile for the longer 'strolls.'
  13. BRM729 MassCops Member

I am close to that...when I do my ten mile run my average is a 9:00 minute mile. I still have some work to do, but I will worry about that later. I just want to get through the PT and the rest of the process first.

I remember filling my pockets with sand from the pit, then emptying them in the squad bay, before morning chow..

Taking all of our mattresses and stacking them outside in the parking lot, 15 minutes before taps...

During the first couple weeks doing firewatch and getting creeped out listening to recruits yell, and I mean yell "SIR YES SIR" and "AYE SIR" in their sleep..

You've brought back memories.. Them were the good old days..

Well I'm SURE that was all just so you'd have a nice fresh mattress for the night! ;)

Perhaps there were bedbugs... They were just looking out for your welfare.

This is great to hear. Any info on how many letters of interest have been sent back?
  18. niteowl1970 Radio Ninja

I heard quite a few letters haven't been sent back due to the Ayer Constable Fugitive Apprehension Team also sending out cards and letters.

Eventually your body is going to get use to running those distances so you are going to want to throw in some explosive cardio as well. I'm sure the PT instructors will find new and exciting ways to make you sweat throughout the run.

    Thank you

Well it's all rumors and hearsay, one thing is for sure, it's nothing less than a miracle that this state even HAS state police anymore, what with Uncle Deval and the welfare squad running everything.

Should I put in my 2 week notice now?
  24. GMass Supporting Member

I denied the offer. I just got on a LEC instead.
