"new"? I've had one for 4-5 years, and I've never really used it other than checking it out. It's cheap, but I'd much rather use a blue gun. Less potential for issues (dropping the gun, having it fall during a disarming technique, etc). If you want to use force on force, just use airsoft or marker rounds. I can see the benefit for the ones for the AR15 that replace the bolt carrier, but I don't really see the point for the training barrels in handguns.
