The shitbags at Gatehouse took her salary information out.

Too late, it never should have been in there to begin with.

Agree'd Delta - and the sad thing is - her husband own's inBrockton.com and he's always been pretty close with their editorial staff and Web people.

And they did that to her memory!

There will be a memorial donation page for the MSPCA set up at some point in the near future.

Brockton Police Officer Dies From Blood Clot Following Freak Accident

    By Jim Armstrong, WBZ-TV

    July 6, 2012 10:38 PM

BROCKTON (CBS) – Rebecca Greer loved her job as a Brockton police officer. But for her husband, there were always concerns.
“I worried, because Brockton’s not Mayberry,” explains Greer’s husband David Heidke. “I always worried about her on the road because you could hear gunshots.”
But Becky, as friends and family called her, came from a family full of law enforcement and members of the military.
In fact, she and Heidke met when they were both MPs in the National Guard.
He says Becky entertained the idea of working for police departments throughout the country.
Ultimately, she decided to come to her hometown of Brockton, where she actually had job offers from both the police and fire departments.
“I think it was about helping people,” says Heidke. “She really wanted a job in public service.”
A couple months ago, Greer fell at home and broke her ankle. Doctors kept a close eye on her recovery, since she had a long-standing condition that could cause blood clots. But with time, she was getting better and was making plans to rejoin the force.

Up until 0730, there still wasn't anything over the teletype.

Fucking asshole Brockton City Councilor Jass Stewart goes and sends out his political emailing requesting fundraising efforts.

Couldn't wait a few days out of respect for Officer Greer, the BPD, and her husband Dave.
