    I know cards have already gone out this time around. Will they go out again? Scored a 90 but sitting at 684 on the eligible list. Any chance still?

    Initial backgrounds are being conducted at this time. I'm hearing a possible start date for mid to late November.

    How many will be selected for the academy? They are conducting a background check on me now. Does that mean I'm going to be selected for the upcoming class?

    It means you are being considered.
    Whether you are offered a job will depend a lot on your background and whether you omitted anything because they will find it.
