So I ran into this recently. I have no idea how to run Year of Manufacture plates on antique cars on IMC on the MDT. I asked dispatch, they quickly showed me how to run it on openfox but we couldn't figure out IMC. From my understanding the RMV lists it as a AQ plate with a PAY ALARS code. But i don't get the correct response.

I am a patrolman who often sits desk.

* Que Samuel L Jackson voice " DISPATCH M-F DO YOU SPEAK IT!" :p

We don't have CJIS on MDT, Only IMC. IMC and Openfox at the desk. I'm told I have a log in for Openfox, but I only use it to double check WMS, so the dispatchers I relieve stay logged in. If I have to report a stolen MV or such I call one of them for a step by step.

I'm the last of the patrolman-dispatchers. Hopefully soon I won't have to sit the desk ever, but I tend to be the go to for any odd jobs. Booking, calling the clerk, calling for extras when SHTF, walk a new guy through emergency 209A, etc ( I take it as a compliment)
All the new kids never got trained, and withe a few exceptions anyone senior to me is either out of date or was a dispatcher originally so they are trusted to cover when I can't

Any way, end of day, it sounds like IMC sucks in one more way and its impossible.

IMC vs. CJIS etc, etc, etc..........
All I know is I recently rode the pine for just over 4 months while IOD. Between CJIS, Phones, radios, Lobby Window, and Lieutenant hovering around, I'm starting a petition for NATIONAL DISPATCHERS RECOGNITION WEEK!!!!
