(CBS4)SANDWICH A Cape Cod student could be in a lot of trouble, for his music. Police want to file a criminal charge against the rap artist, for allegedly threatening his school in a song.
18 year-old Nate Gibbs wrote the song called “Plot for Revenge.” It contains lyrics like, “I'm like, nah, I want to blow the whole school down. They say I'm on drugs. I'll just hit 'em with some slugs. Put 'em in the hospital. Now who's on drugs?”
The song talks about killing all the students who have teased him over the years.
"Problems - I can't solve 'em. I don't know what to do. I just wish these kids accepted me. I want to kill everyone who disrespected me."
Four high schoolers heard the song and reported it to police. Sandwich Police consider some of the lyrics as threats against the school and want to charge Gibbs with threatening to commit violence.
"There is a line that freedom of speech crosses that can become a crime," says Chief Michael Miller.
Police see other red flags: namely Gibbs' past record. Gibbs was put on probation for bringing a pellet gun to school. He also served 3 months in jail this summer for failing a drug test which violated his probation.
Despite the concern of police, a clerk magistrate decided that there's not enough information to warrant a criminal complaint.
We tried to reach Sandwich High School, but got no response. Police tell us the high school has not taken any disciplinary action.

I can rap watch. The fat rat went to the vat and fell in to a hat. Now all I have to do is put some obviously offending things towards LEOs, go down get some punk cloths and I'm all set.
Serriously though: Wouldn't you change the lyrics!!!!! If one wrote a wrap (Sounds good right about now) like that.
The DOD Police should watch out for this kid, maybe he will be walking around in his Camo and NY Yankees Hat down at the MMR (Cape Edwards, Otis ANGB, CAG Cape).

Are his dogtags and camo from honorable military service? Or is it because he is a 'street soldier...' This kid is getting all of the attention from the media that his mother couldn't give him. Good luck to the department trying to press charges, his mother probably has the ACLU on speed dial at this point. His new rap name should be 'Dork the uber-dork'.
Good God. I checked out his site. What has happened to the English Language? I'm no Shakespeare, but it's obvious that we need MCAS more than ever.
