Anyone know why there isn't a Troop G or if one ever existed - what happened ?

Just wondering as to why it's only A. B. C. D. E. F. & H.

If Troop G is GHQ, then why does their collar dogs they wear say just H.Q. on them? Why not G.H.Q.? Also, was there a Troop I for a short period of time when the merge happened??

If I could explain all the things the State Police do, I probably would be Colonel!

Seriously, I have no idea why there was a Troop I, other than Troop H (Boston) was split up??

Was Troop I originally the Capitol Police, post-merge? I have a fuzzy recollection of that...

GHQ, wouldn't fit in the same block styly lettering and as they are the only ones that wear "HQ" everyone knows that they are from GHQ and the State is uniformity uniformity uniformity. State collar brass is always on the right and the Troop is on the left. All BIS pers. are HQ.
