Police Officer, Full Time: Town of Sterling.

The Town of Sterling is extending it's application period until December 1st 2005 for a vacant full-time police officer position. Requirments for the postion are: US Citizen, Graduate of MCJTC certified full-time academy, Massachusetts drivers license, H.S. Diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a physical fitness test, medical and psychological exam, drug test, and background investigation, ability to obtain a LTC. No significant criminal or traffic record. Residency of 15 miles from the borders of the town is required. Sterling employs 11 full-time officers who work a four-day on, two day off schedule. Salary range is $15.32 to $22.38 an hour plus Quinn, longevity, shift differential, physical fitness incentive, clothing allowance, sick leave, eleven paid holidays, ten vacation days after one year, and three personal days a year, health and dental benefits, insurance policy, educational reimbursement and other benefits outlined in the collective bargaining agreement.
