Anyone know much about Palmer, Southbridge or Charlton Auxiliary Police?? i.e. what do they do? are they Specials? Are they looking for more Aux. Officers? good rapport?

I work in Charlton. Call P.D. and ask for court officer . I'd be happy to answer any questions. I do not run program though.

Many of aux.s have gone to f.t. academy and are trying to get hired f.t. elsewhere cause we're civil service.I know one officer left or gave notice recently because dept. that hired him doesn't want him serving 2 masters. I believe there is an opening but Chief has discretion as to how many aux.s he wants and who he hires. I don't know if he's promised the spot to anyone from last round of interviews. You live in Dudley drive by and see him. He works well after 6 p.m. on most nights. He's not one of those guys that to busy to see anyone
