well i picked my retirement date. I picked december 15th as my date. Its odd that i am retiring @ 27 years old. hopefully w/ house hunting & job hunting leave i will be home the end of december. i gotta get that DVET DD214 to HR ya know.

thanks, iI'm gonna go to apply at all the jobs for contracting in iraq & afganistan & see if any1 bites. they start @ around $180k for a year contract. i did more dangerous shit for about 1/3 of that pay so i think i could do another year.

yeah dyncorp has a poppy eradication program in afganistan that looks promising. they also do all the base security for central command in qatar. to include K9. i know because the dog "sat on our vehicle. gee imagine an explosive detecting WD sitting on a EOD vehicle. i still get nailed in airports. i think i sweat out C4 residue.
