Ashland Police needs auxiliary officers
The Ashland Auxiliary Police is looking for town residents who may be interested in joining the force.
Members of the Auxiliary Police should attend the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council's intermittent reserve academy.
The auxiliary police is open to residents 21 or older.
For more information, contact Ashland Police dispatcher, part-time officer and Auxiliary Lt. Mark Byron at 508-881-1212, or go to ashlandpd.org, and click on the auxiliary police link.

Mark Byron is a friend of mine. VERY good guy..., busy too as you can tell. He ended up in all three positions because he started as a FT Dispatcher and joined the Auxiliary (because he wants to be a PO). He moved through the rank in Aux. then got appointed as part-time (P/I) PO. He remained at the helm of the Auxiliary.
