Note: I posted here rather than job openings, since you can't reply in the job openings forum and I have no idea how legit this offer is. Thus if someone has something to add or refute, it can be done here.

Interesting message Len. I wonder how many "yahoos" are going to reply to this fellow.
Man its an ugly & sad situation down there... God bless those folks....

Interesting that the particular area code in that email is from Illinois...

CAUTION:
Please note that the message I posted has a number of "red flags" to this suspicious sole:
- Grammar and spelling are atrocious!
- No mention of any org by name.
- Return Email address is a freebie, not some .gov or .org that one might recognize as a legit organization.
- The phone number (IL) given is most likely unlisted. No Reverse Phonebook or Google search hits!
I posted it "just in case it was legit", but I'd treat it as suspicious. It came to me from a gun dealer in PA (he's also a court officer down there) and his source was some online gun pub editor. Caveat emptor applies here!

So strange regardless...it's like those emails where someone says some long lost family member left you 2.5m dollars and he wants to split it with you...or something like that...although this one is just playing off people I suppose...

Oh yeah, Len, the spelling is dreadful. I was going to make a joke about it earlier actually, but in light of the circumstances surrounding it, I refrained. But it is suspicious to say the least. I wouldn't be at all surprised if it turns out to be bogus.
Kate; speaking of e-mails of fortune. I just sent my credit card information to a NAROBI PRINCE!! For just a small processing fee, he’s going to send me a very large percentage of his $23 million fortune!! I can’t wait! As soon as I get it; I"M OUTTA HERE!!
