There is no doubt that we all dislike banner ads but sometimes they are an necessary evil.

The banner ads on MassCops funded this new vBulletin software as well as pay the monthly hosting fees, domain fees and additional software like (MassCops WebMail).

You now have a choice...

You can now become a "Subscribing Member" of MassCops and enjoy a banner/ad free forum. For a yearly subscription of $25.00 or $5.00 per month (via PayPal subscription) you get a banner free forum, larger avatars and more space in your MassCops WebMail account as well as your Private Message mailbox and no limit on the arcade games.

Other perks will include online journals, a webpage and guestbook under your user id. These mods are still in the process of being installed and should be available by mid September. Additional perks will be added as they are requested or become available.

Upgrade your MassCops Webmail

For a yearly subscription of $50.00 you get all of the above plus enhanced MassCops Mail. You can use the email client of your choice and still have web based email service. The enhanced mail package provides you with more storage and the option of three popular web based email interfaces (NeoMail, Horde or Squirrel Mail)

To become a "Subscribing Member" visit your user control panel and select "Paid Subscriptions" on the lower left menu.

Subscriptions are processed through PayPal and are effective for 365 days from date first subscribed.

Gil;

Does becoming a "Subscribing Member" help you
with the upkeep of the board ?

Posted by: Gil

Hi Harry,

It does help, not so much with the upkeep on the board, that is mostly done in my spare time but it helps fund software to maintain and improve the site, hosting fees etc...

There are many services out there that I would love to incorperate with the site but worthwhile ones cost money. Don't get me wrong, MassCops is not closing due to a lack of funds the money will be used to enhance what we already have going.

Thanks,
Gil
