Duties:
Patrols buildings, grounds and adjacent area on foot or in patrol car. Guards against trespass, theft and damage to property or injury to individuals, screens visitors, rooms and packages, investigates incidents, enforces Mass. General Laws, regulations and policies, assists in restraints of violent persons. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum Entrance Requirements: None.

Special Requirements: Possession of a current and valid Massachusetts Class 3 Motor Vehicle Operator's License.

Appointee must be eligible for appointment as a special police officer under Chapter 147 of the Massachusetts General Laws.

The Brockton Multi Service Center provides comprehensive services to mentally ill adults and children. Programs include Case Management, Community Rehabilitation Support, Community Residential Programs, Emergency/Crisis Services Unit, the Clubhouse and a PACT team. The Brockton Multi Service Center is a JCAHO certified facility. In all we always aspire to create an environment which promotes growth and independence for clients, families, and employees alike. Position #185761 is a TEMPORARY POSITION assigned to the Brockton Multi Service Center: Hours are 2:45 p.m. - 11:15 p.m. with Tuesday and Wednesday off.
