Performs responsible police work in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances. Work involves patrolling assigned areas, accident and crime.
Minimum Education and Qualifications: High school graduation or GED required; North Carolina BLET certified or currently enrolled in BLET, college level work in criminal justice field preferred; law enforcement experience preferred. Valid NC driver's license with safe driving record or ability to obtain prior to hire. Must be able to pass a physical abilities test.
