I'm just wondering what other campus departments have for shift differential's. Please post up if you would... I'm thinking that my department is behind the curve.

WNEC
3p-11p = .25/hr
11p-7a = .50/hr

Ahhhh Jared,

I think we're $0.50 per hour at this AFSCME joint

It is also $1.00 an hour on the weekends...I forgot that. It doesn't surprise me that we are getting porked. Go MCLEA!

No differential here at Dean Junior College. What else is new.

I work at U Mass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Ma. I am also president of our Union, Local 543 SPFPA.
Shift premium here for second shift is $2.50/Hr. and $4.00/Hr on third shift.

Thanks for the info and keep it comming. I probably should've been more specific, requesting info from private colleges, since that's all my boss would compare us to. Seems like we've probably in the same mess as every non-union department as far as shift-diff is concerned.

No, not looking to organize... Our gig here is pretty decent; the boss always wants facts before committing to an proposition such as this. I'm just seeing what officers at comperable institutions are getting for their shift diff's so I can get my duck's in a row. Of course, it's all moot if there's no comments from any WMass CPD's, since that's what he'd look at first.

NO!!.. Not looking to organize... a union would ruin what we have. Thanks, but NO thanks!
