A broker of celebrity sex videos is trying to sell a sex tape of "Mini-Me" actor Verne Troyer, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ.com. Troyer, who played Dr. Evil's (Mike Myers) diminutive clone in "Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me" and "Austin Powers in Goldmember," is shown in a clip of the sex tape with his former live-in girlfriend on TMZ's Web site. According to TMZ, Kevin Blatt, the same dealer who brokered Paris Hilton's sex video, is entertaining an offer of $100,000 from a company called Sugar DVD to distribute the video.
You're right, there is a niche market for that sort of crap.

Sex tapes serve one purpose only: to wind up "stolen" and posted on the web when those involved need a little cheap publicity.

By Nick Allen Last Updated: 5:21PM BST 27/06/2008
Hollywood actor Verne Troyer, who starred as Mini-Me in the Austin Powers films, is suing a website over a video of him having sex with a model.
REUTERS Mr Troyer filed his lawsuit at a court in LA
The star, who stands 2ft 8 ins tall, has filed a $20 million (£10 million) lawsuit claiming invasion of privacy and breach of copyright. He says the tape was stolen and has since ended up in the hands of the same film producer who distributed a notorious sex tape of hotel heiress Paris Hilton. Mr Troyer, 39, is the latest in a long line of Hollywood celebrities to have their sex lives aired on the internet. He made the tape with a former girlfriend, an American model in her 20s. Mr Troyer filed his lawsuit at a court in Los Angeles and also requested and injunction banning further distribution of the film. The actor, who is Hollywood's smallest star and also a stunt man, was married briefly in 2004 to a yoga teacher. The following year he appeared on a US reality television show where he got drunk and urinated in the corner of a gym while riding naked on a scooter. His most famous film role has been as Mini-Me, a miniature clone of Dr Evil, played by Mike Myers, in the Austin Powers films. He appears in the second and third films of the trilogy - Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers in Goldmember. The actor also starred as Griphook the Goblin in the film of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

A federal judge ordered the gossip site TMZ.com Friday to remove clips of a private sex tape actor Verne Troyer says was stolen from his residence.
Troyer, best known for his portrayal of Mini Me in the "Austin Powers" films, filed suit Thursday seeking more than $20 million in damages for posting portions of a tape the actor made with a former girlfriend.
U.S. District Judge Philip S. Gutierrez issued a temporary restraining order against TMZ and two other parties allegedly attempting to sell the video after ruling that Troyer "demonstrated a strong likelihood of success" in his suit.
According to court papers, the video of Troyer and former girlfriend Renae Schrider was stolen from the actor's residence in the last few months and "was never intended . . . to be shown to the public."
The judge's order prohibits TMZ, promoter Kevin Blatt and SugarDVD, an online distributor of adult films, from selling or distributing the video.
On Wednesday, TMZ broadcast clips from the video on its television show and posted clips on its website, according the suit.
TMZ reported that Blatt, who brokered the sale of Paris Hilton's sex tape, "is entertaining a $100K offer from Sugar- DVD to distribute the video."
Representatives for TMZ did not return calls seeking comment.
In a message on its website, SugarDVD touted the "existence of one of the most shocking and controversial celebrity sex tapes to date," but said it would release the video only "if Verne gives his consent."
