LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Police said a Salem, N.H. Man was arrested after allegedly trying to rob three Massachusetts stores in three hours.

Officials said 28-year-old Steven Conde tried to rob a Lawrence store with a fake bazooka around 2 p.m. Tuesday. The clerk there chased Conde out of the store with a knife, police said.

According to police, he then tried to rob a second store but the clerk there refused to give him any money. He left the store and that’s when police said Conde held up a third store and was successful.

He was arrested shortly after the third robbery. He is currently being held on $50,000 bail.

I bet he had permits for the bazooka. That weapon is NOT on the approved list. He should be charged with that also!

Well, he is from New Hampshire...you can buy pretty much anything there.

Unless, he was a MA resident ordering the bazooka (or ammunition) over the internet - it wouldn't matter.

However, if it was a MA approved bazooka - the guy might have been so effed up that he couldn't squeeze the ten pound trigger on it.
