MARSHFIELD —
Police said they arrested a Weymouth man Monday after he crashed his car into two cars in Marshfield Center.
Police say Robert Roth, 32, of 8 Tara Drive, No. 6, was driving east on Ocean Street about 8:40 a.m. when he crossed into the opposite lane and hit another vehicle on the driver’s side near Veterans Memorial Park.
Roth continued to drive east, without stopping, and the driver of the other vehicle turned around to follow him, police said.
Police said Roth passed Rite Aid Pharmacy and then backed up and drove into the lot. He then hit a parked car before parking near the entrance of the store, police said.
Roth was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, reckless driving, leaving the scene of property damage, and illegal possession of prescription drugs.
