BRAINTREE —
A Braintree woman was allegedly high on drugs when police stopped her for driving erratically. Robin Dickerson, 47, was arrested early Tuesday after a motorist alerted police that a car was traveling on the wrong side of the road without headlights near the police station on Union Street.
Officer Brian Eng noticed Dickerson and stopped her near the station.
Police said Dickerson was disoriented and unable to stand on her own. Her speech was slurred and she appeared to be sleepy.
Police said the officer was unable to detect the odor of alcohol on Dickerson, who did poorly on several field sobriety tests.
Dickerson was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, driving to endanger, failure to display headlights and having no license in possession.
