Woman sues Victoria's Secret over G-string injury

A woman is taking legal action against world famous
lingerie label Victoria's Secret after sustaining an eye injury
while trying on a thong.
The incident occurred, says the Los Angeles woman, as she
was putting on a decorative low-rise "v-string", Victoria's
Secret's own version of the g-string, from the "Sexy Little
Thing" line.

According to a lawsuit filed last week in Los Angeles
Superior Court, Macrida Patterson, 52, alleges that a piece of metallic
embellishment that should have been stitched firmly onto the garment
flew off and hit her in the eye.

Her lawyer Jason Buccat told an investigative website a "design problem"
caused the decorative piece to come loose and strike Patterson in the eye,
causing damage to her cornea.
He added the eye injury, which caused Patterson to miss a few days of work
as a traffic officer with the LA Department of Transportation, will be "affecting
her the rest of her life".
Prior to the lawsuit's filing, Victoria's Secret, famous for its glamorous fashion
shows starring the likes of supermodels Giselle, Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks, requested
to inspect the offending article, but Patterson's counsel refused.

1. There are two things that should not be in the same sentence "low rise v string sexy little thing" and "Macrida Patterson age 52".

2. Because it is no longer a "sexy little thing" but instead a large stretched out clothesline.

Boo! Hiss! She may very well have been qualified to wear the garment. Just sayin. But what in the bloody hell was sewn on that could take an eye out?

I am willing to bet she tried to defy the laws of physics. She was probably not qualified to wear it and thats how she managed generate enough torque to dislodge a small jewel, propel it upward where it continued with enough force to impact the cornea, then redirect off the cornea and come to an uncontrolled final rest on the floor.

A sling shot! It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.

I have no idea what's sewn on that thing, but I would be more than happy to have this young lady demonstrate a re-enactment for us!!! ^_^

Yeah..First I though she was trying it on in the store. If it didn't fit she'd return it to the rack. Not even most guys I know would do that.

Just cause it comes in xtra large doesnt mean you should wear it.

I'm not how that little piece of metal didn't get lost "down there" and managed to make its way up to her eye.
