SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - There is new information on a gang-related drive-by shooting in Springfield Wednesday that left two people wounded. Police are now looking for two suspects. Captain Robert McFarlin, head of the detective bureau, said they are looking for two black males, between the ages of 18-20, in connection with the shooting on Standish Street. He said warrants were obtained Thursday morning for the two, who are facing eight charges each. The charges include attempted murder, assault, and firearms possession. McFarlin said a 16-year-old boy was shot in the stomach, and 18-year-old Sherard Therrion was shot twice in the arm. The two are expected to recover. McFarlin said that the shooting was triggered by an on-going dispute between two street gangs. Report by Lynn Barry, WWLP
