Police arrested a man and seized more than 30 packets of suspected heroin after responding to Bank Street Neighborhood Association complaints of drug activity.
Ryan A. Ceiley, 24, of 44 N. Seventh St., is charged with possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute.
Police spokesman Sgt. Paul Bernier said officers confronted a man and woman in a car in the Bank Street area Monday about 9:30 p.m.
When Ceiley stepped out of the vehicle, he allegedly dropped several blue glassine items and tried to push them under the car, Bernier said. A search revealed about 30 more of the packets of suspected heroin. Also seized was $82 in alleged drug proceeds.
