just curious how police officers and their unions are responding to the N Star strike. many of us know several gas and electric company employees from doing details over the years. are you doing the details at the picket lines or supporting the workers and turning the detail down ? rumor is that New Bedford PD officers will not take them and Boston PD actually sends its union members to walk with the strikers and donated money to the utility workers union. Other departments hungrilly gobble up the details at strike locations...
what is going on where you work ?? Guys I work with take them because our union did not ask us not to and we figure other guys will take them if we don't..
