Great time guys... so glad to have met you all! Good luck in all your endevours... we'll have to plan some sort of reunion... Mad Raven anyone?

Posted by: tomahawk

Agreed! Hahaha... next time I "go for a couple", can someone please lead me out the door sooner than midnight?!??! Yikes.

The official one-week-and-a-half reunion is this Friday night - send me a private message for details!

Good luck to everyone...

-Mike

Posted by: Mortal knight

Thanks for the short notice!
Dude I'll stuff you in my bag and toss you out in the trash!
Trust me there is room in there

Posted by: tomahawk

Hey everyone who showed up for the graduation festivities that night was invited on the spot, not my fault you had to go home to the one holding the leash...

-Mike

Posted by: Mortal knight

yeah , the leash, the handcuff, and the whip!

Seriously, SOME of us had to be at work early! We don't get the comfy "sit at a desk playing Pong on the computor all night job" like some people

Posted by: bpd145

Mike..

I think the knight just 'dissed' you. Feel the love!

To all the graduates: congratulations. It is hard to make a commitment to an unpaid academy, 3 nights a week, when you are still working in the real world.

Good luck to all!

Posted by: tomahawk

bpd, no worries, I will just go visit him at his real job and make his life difficult. MK, I will be nice this time around and not tell everyone where to find you (and I am not referring to your Sunday morning Haverhill Auxiliary S.W.A.T. duties)!

Thanks for the congrats. Wish it would help the current job market, though...

-Mike

Posted by: Mortal knight

Tomahawk,
You don't understand how difficult it is crossing little old ladies in the "mean" streets of Haverhill Standing their in the middle of the road with SUV's heading straight at you! Its hell buddy, pure hell!

Seriously though, Has anyone recieved anything back from the academy?

Posted by: aux14

That's a negative MK. I'd say give it at least another two weeks! Our info probably sat on someone's desk for at least three days before it was sent out, if it has even gone out yet! Good luck!

BTW... Has anyone who took the civi service exam, received their scores yet?!

Posted by: Officer Dunngeon

I haven't received anything yet either.

Usually they don't send out the scores until the end of August/beginning of September.

Posted by: aux14

Thanks Dungie Missed ya last night!

Posted by: Officer Dunngeon

Thanks, sorry I missed it, everyone have a good time?

Posted by: tomahawk

I had to work until 11, then I made my 2-hour appearance... it was a good time. Wayland, heard you were there, sorry I missed you! Everyone else was too cool, but it was fun!

-Mike

Posted by: aux14

Hey Dungie and Tomahawk..

Yeah, I was the only one amongst all the teeny boppers...I was less than thrilled to stay around and wait for you guys ...but I wish I had seen ya! Did landing stip or anyone else show??? hehe

Posted by: tomahawk

HAH! Did not see anyone else there... I was there past 1am. Scary, I knew half of those youngins... my sister even showed up!

We will have to plan something else again, and you have to be at least 16 to show up.

-Mike

There some great "spots" in my neck of the woods. I just walk out my front door and there's 5 bars right there. I still don't drink as much as "Officer Woody"

Posted by: Anonymous

Hey guys...this is Eric from NORTON...obviously nothing happens down here...bored out of my mind...Let me know if you guys plan something I need to get out of town and drink with somebody new.....

Posted by: mpd61

Hey you guys!
1. Congrats on Graduation!
2. Start PM'ing/Cell phoning/Etc, or start a Res/P.I. Waltham alumni thread

CUZ......................you are now

Posted by: tomahawk

Good call mpd61 - topic moved!

-Mike

Posted by: aux14

opps.....I guess we committed a 'party foul'! I think it would be fun to plan something... maybe in the middle of all the driving distances so we can have as many people come as possible. I'm sure between all of us (those who have gone out before) we have enough cell phone numbers of the others. Good luck if you're taking the exam in Norton... I am

Posted by: tomahawk

Norton, eh? That's funny, I thought I saw you across the room in Northboro tonight...

Did anyone else take the test? They promised scores next week... not bad, considering Civil Service scores will be showing up around the same time, and that test was 4 months ago!!!

-Mike

Posted by: Thimios315

Where the hell are the certificates!! LOL
Vera, where you been, hunny?!?!

Posted by: mv577

Got my certificate last night Tim...

Posted by: Thimios315

I spoke too soon. I got mine this morning when I got home from work. black & white, LoL.

Posted by: tomahawk

Yeah I left a grouchy voicemail for Chris @ Boylston on Monday afternoon, and it was in my mailbox Tuesday...

-Mike

Posted by: Officer Dunngeon

I got mine, all nice and wrinkled and creased.

What's all this about tests? I obviously missed out, but if you guys know of anything else coming up, fill me in!

Posted by: Mortal knight

Got mine the other day also, but they spelled my name wrong!
I took the Litchfield test the other night. Only 13 other people were there. I now gotta go to Concord to take the PT on Thursday.

I'll reply for her since she's in FL right now...

I think she miss typed there... she took the exam in Northboro... not Norton...

Cheers...

Posted by: aux14

Thanks MV...ya know how to return a phone call?

Sorry tomahawk...well gee if ya saw me across the room, why didn't you wave or something?! I was tryin to get your attention!

I received my certificate too, but they spelled my name wrong...apparently my name is now 'Alan' in the world of the MCJTC. Guess I'll be giving them a call for a new one .

Posted by: ShakeEmDOwn016

I was in the Waltham Reserve Academy last year ( summer 02). Is there anyone else from my class on here????

Posted by: tomahawk

Sorry 'Alan', I did not mean to be rude!!! I was sitting across the room before I realized it was you, and didn't want to be "that guy" trying to get everyone's attention.

We should be getting our scores and some letters soon, hopefully!

-Mike, the eternal optimist

Posted by: aux14

Just teasin' Mike ... I'm hoping we'll hear soon too!
