Teen Accused of Taking Inappropriate Photos of Young Boys

PALMHURST - A 13-year-old is accused of forcing two younger boys to pose for pornographic photos.
The crime shocked even Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Trevino.
"This is the first time I've heard of this," he says. "I don't know that you hear at all about another child forcing children to do this."
A Wal-Mart employee in Palmhurst discovered the photos, after one of the boy's relatives took them in to be developed. The worker called police officers.
The sheriff says the images included "two 8 and 9-year-old boys photographed fully nude and in sexual positions."
According to the sheriff, the 13-year-old planned the pictures and forced his brother and a friend to pose for them.
The teen is now headed to juvenile hall.
"We have determined the parents, as far as we can tell, are not involved," says Trevino.
NEWSCHANNEL 5 learned CPS is involved in the investigation. We talked to the Wal-Mart employees who discovered the pictures. The company wouldn't allow them to go on camera. But they did tell us it was one of the most disturbing things they've ever seen.

A 13 year old is hardly a child! He's a teenager. Though he is not yet an adult he is still not a child. The 8 and 9 year old boys were children. He was a teenager victimizing two most likely prepubescent young children.
