NEWINGTON, Conn. (AP) - Newington police have arrested five suspects in the robbery of a Bertucci's restaurant over the weekend. The five suspects include an employee of the restaurant on the Berlin Turnpike. Police say three men robbed the restaurant at gunpoint late Saturday. Police say a 17-year-old employee of the restaurant was arrested with the group, but they're not releasing the name or how the worker was involved. Police were called after an employee reported the restaurant had been robbed at gunpoint at closing time. Police spotted one man running from the scene and arrested him. After a search with Berlin, Wethersfield, Rocky Hill, Hartford and state police, three other suspects were found.
