BELLINGHAM - A 38-year-old Woonsocket, R.I., woman was arrested Saturday night and charged with domestic assault and battery, police said.
Lori A. Ottavi, of 223 Knight St., was arrested about 10:35 p.m. after a report of an argument outside the VFW on South Main Street, police said.
One person was taken to Landmark Medical Center, police said. No further information was available.
Man arrested on 4 warrants
UPTON - A 41-year-old North Grafton man was arrested yesterday on four warrants and a charge of operating after suspension of his license, police said.
Alan Long, of 23 East St., was arrested at 3:54 p.m. on Rte. 140 near the Hopedale town line, police said.
Long had two warrants out of Worcester District Court for motor vehicle violations, police said. He also had a warrant out of Gardner for motor vehicle violations and a warrant out of Westborough for a larceny over $250 charge, police said.
Departments work to fix water main break
MEDWAY - The Department of Public Works and the Water Department worked on a water main break on Holliston Street yesterday, police said.
The break, which occurred about 1:50 p.m., damaged the road, police said.
The departments were still working at the break, near Sun Valley Drive, several hours later, police said.
