HOLLISTON —
Police say they arrested a Marlborough man twice in as many days after he fought Saturday with his mother and stepfather, then violated a restraining order yesterday.
Mark W. Iodice, 29, was held without bail yesterday and scheduled to be arraigned this morning in Framingham District Court, police said.
Iodice was arrested about 6:25 p.m. Saturday after officers were called to 25 Skyview Terrace. There, Iodice's mother and stepfather told police Iodice had hit them during a scuffle, police said.
The stepfather had a scratch above his eye, but Officer Dan Griffith said neither victim needed to be treated.
"No one was really hurt," Griffith said. "It was all just superficial stuff."
Iodice, of 97 Settlers Lane, Marlborough, was arrested and brought to the station for booking where police say they found stolen drugs on him.
In a prescription bottle Iodice had stuffed in his pants pocket, police found pills of Klonopin, medication for seizures and panic disorder, Lewis said.
Where he got the Klonopin is still under investigation, but, "we're comfortable that he took it from somebody," the sergeant said.
In addition to two counts of assault and battery, Iodice was charged with possession of a Class C substance and larceny of drugs, police said.
Iodice was cooperative during booking and didn't say much, police said.
After posting $1,000 bail, Iodice was then arrested yesterday for violating a restraining order against a woman in Holliston, police said.
"You either respect it or you don't," Lewis said. "If you violate it, you're going to get yourself arrested."
