LEOMINSTER -- Police allege a Leominster High School student had marijuana on campus, which was found after a police officer assigned to the school received a tip from a parent in April, according to court documents.
School Resource Officer Oswaldo Ramos wrote in a report Hillary O. Nna, 17, of 826 Westminster Hill Road in Fitchburg, allegedly had a plastic bag containing marijuana in her school bag on April 28.
Nna allegedly became confrontational and swore at Ramos and two school administrators, Ramos wrote.
Upon searching her possessions, Ramos wrote a dean found a makeup case containing a mirror and a small red straw, which allegedly had a white powder residue on it, according to the report.
Ramos reportedly asked Nna what the items were, and she allegedly replied, "It's a makeup case, Dick Tracy."
Ramos reported also finding a pill marked with numbers in the bag with the marijuana, which he said will be tested along with the white powder, and a pipe.
Another female student was searched the same day, and police allegedly found rolling papers in her locker. Ramos reported Nna faced several days suspension from school. Nna received a summons to Leominster District Court, where she was arraigned Friday on the charge of possession of a Class D substance. She is due in court June 25 for a pretrial hearing.
