Kevin Scholtz Sought In 39-Year-Old Man's Beating Death
NORWOOD (WBZ) ― Police are looking for a suspect who they say brutally beat a man to death overnight in Norwood, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office said.
Police say 39-year-old Scott Haynes was beaten to death after a confrontation broke out at a party on Nahatan Street sometime Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday.
Haynes was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital with severe head injures and died Saturday.
Police are searching for 26-year-old Kevin Scholtz, who is considered a person of interest in the brutal beating.
Police planned to release a photo of Scholtz and ask anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact local police.

Police say 39-year-old Scott Haynes was beaten to death after a confrontation broke out at at the suspect's mother's home on Nahatan Street sometime Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday.
Haynes was rushed to Brigham and Women's Hospital with severe head injures and died Saturday.
Police arrested 26-year-old Kevin Scholtz just before 7 p.m. at his mother's house.
Scholtz will be arragined on murder charges on Monday.
