Boy, 7, Pummels Grandma Over Chicken Wings

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. -- A woman was beaten and injured inside a Florida Wal-Mart by her 7-year-old grandson over chicken wings.

Vikkita Stratford said she was in a Palm Beach County Wal-Mart when her grandson, Latarian, asked for some wings.

When Stratford said no, she said the boy pummeled her in front of a crowd.
"(He) just started hitting me just started hitting me in front of the whole Wal-mart," Stratford said. "Everyone in there was upset. In my stomach in my legs wherever he could reach me that's where he hit me."

Latarian is the same child who stole his grandmother's sport utility vehicle and went on a joy ride, smashing four cars on the roadway.

The boy later said he wanted to do it because it was fun and it's fun to do bad things.

Stratford hopes health officials can diagnose the problems and get him help, the report said.

"I don't want him to continue in this direction so I'm doing the best I can do to get him help," Stratford said.

Latarian is undergoing a mental evaluation over the attack.

Card carrying member of the FFA (Future Felons of America) "...don't go to jail without it!" I guess I was right on target in this thread on the same kid.

Ms. Stratford, why have health officials do your daughters job? By the way, where is your daughter Ms. Stratford? You've done such a stellar job raising your daughter, that's she's dumped Junior in your lap. Bravo, good job. It's your & your daughters and her husband / man / babys daddy (?) job to instill values and responsability for this monster. Not the governments.

Too late, this kid is a bad seed since conception.

With any luck, the fat little f#ck will croak from a heart attack before his next crime spree. Ohhh, sorry, that was kinda mean.

I guess that apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Looks like Latarian's family puts the FUN in dysFUNctional.

NE2007, that's not being mean, it's telling the truth. If this P.O.S. is allowed to run amok in society, we'll be probably reading about him again on here in another couple of months. It's tough to write anybody off at such a young age, but it's a harsh world. Either FL takes the kid away and he has intense psychotherapy before he goes to a normal foster family and away from bad/fun influences, or he'll end up killing somebody. It's a slippery slope, that most people don't start till their late teens or early 20's, so Latarian's got a 10 year head start.

When Latarian does end up raping or murdering in a few short years (if left with Nana) they'll be cries of "why wasn't he given therapy" or "the state should have done more" etc.....
Been there, seen it happen, know the ending.
