A hotel guest toppled to his death from a balcony during a spitting contest with a friend.
The 29-year-old Swiss had been taking a run-up to help get extra distance, but lost his balance and fell six and a half metres to the street below.
He was rushed to hospital in the Swiss town of Cadempino, but died in hospital from his injuries.
The two men had suggested discovering who could spit the furthest from their balcony, after returning home from a disco in the Italian-speaking district.
A third friend remained unaware of what was going on, having opted to go to bed instead.
