RUMNEY, N.H. (WBZ) ― Three people are dead after a horrific crash in Rumney, New Hampshire.

According to the Grafton County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened on Buffalo Road around 9 a.m. Sunday.

When emergency crews arrived, they found a car submerged in the Baker River.

Witnesses were able to pull one person from the car, who was rushed to Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, New Hampshire. That person was pronounced dead a short time later.

The two other people inside the car were found when the vehicle was pulled out of the water.
