Bay Path College, a pioneer in innovative academic programs since 1897, as well as an institution ranked in the top tier by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking qualified candidates for Campus Public Safety Director. This position plans, organizes and supervises the administrative and operational activities of a 24-hour College Public Safety Department. The Director coordinates, develops and implements policies and procedures that ensure high-quality campus safety and security services in order to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, staff and the general public; nurtures contacts within and outside the college to prevent and solve problems; creates programs in support of safety and emergency preparedness.
Qualifications: Associate's degree with 4 years of direct experience necessary, Bachelor's degree and experience preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, effective organizational and excellent interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse academic community that values tradition, mutual respect for others and service to the greater community. First Responder / CPR certified with Basic Fire training preferred. The ability to responsibly handle sensitive and confidential information is critical. Offer of employment will be contingent upon the completion of a successful background investigation, including but not limited to a criminal record investigation. Valid driver's license and the ability to work flexible and extended work schedules including weekends and evenings a must.

Is/was this a contract outfit? I can't recall though I've seen a patch from them. I believe this is one of the few Mass. campuses I've never visited but Longmeadow is a nice town so maybe it's a nice campus.

Pure Security only it sounds like. They also have a campus on Route 20 in Sturbridge in the old Techman Building. AFAIK its a womens only college.
