Has anyone who passed the test (or anybody) heard anything How is this whole thing working?

Posted by: BPD142

I heard they are throwing the whole thing out because the test was bunk.

Posted by: Einherjar

I know that Dennis PD has been calling people from that exam. Reportedly they are only looking at people with academy training.

Posted by: Foxy85

That test was crap....

Posted by: Donkey55

Why are they throwing it out BPD142???? If that is the case..that sucks... I thought those Departments were going to be hiring quite a few between them.

Posted by: Donkey55

BPD142 why would they just scrap an examination like that? I was under the impression that there would be a decent amount of opportunities between the six departments. Gotta love it...

Posted by: BPD142

Because so many people failed it that already were on the job, and the majority of the people that passed it were not really desireable. The test wasnt up to par in the eyes of the chiefs, this is what i heard from higher ups, dont take it for gospel, but pretty reliable. And yes it does suck, its like civil circus giving another exam in june for $100 this time, what a joke!

awesome..... guess i'll pay more attention to out of state recruiters

Posted by: Donkey55

anyone else heard anything???

Posted by: Foxy85

I scored 8 (90-93) on CS, and a 95 on the FJBAT down in Florida....

I'm no rocket scientist, but I was blown out of the water with that test....

Posted by: Donkey55

I thought the cape test was pretty decent(I passed), i also scored an 8 on the civil service but do not live in a civil service town. That is why i'm a little fired up if they throw this test away.

Foxy85 where you look'n in florida?

Posted by: Sinner

OK, it's been over 7 months. What's the deal? anyone heard? Not even a "no thank you letter". I did get a "you passed but dont call any of the PD's letter". just wondering.

The test was a money maker for LEDemensions and thats about it....Waste of $65.00....
