MANCHESTER, N.H. AP -- Police said a New Hampshire man who allegedly threatened to use explosives if a Manchester bank didn't hand over $50 million returned to the bank, twice, to get the money. Robert Taylor, 46, was charged with robbery. He was accused of leaving a threatening note for the president of Citizens Bank on Monday. The note said he would detonate explosives if the bank didn't give him $50 million, police said. Police said Taylor returned to the bank later that day to see if the president had a response to his note. He left when the receptionist told him there had been no response. Police said the receptionist didn't know what had been in the note. But bank officials were on the alert Tuesday when Taylor returned for a second time, police said. The bank called police, who arrested him as he sat in the bank's lobby.
