I have a NIB S&S M&P40 9mm for sale. I bought it about a month ago and have not fired it. MSRP $656 asking $500 firm.

That's a little steep. I bought a M & P 9mm from Four Seasons in Woburn NIB for $489 with a $50 mail in rebate and 2 free mags from Smith & Wesson.

I'm not buying, but it's either the .40 S&W or the 9mm Luger/Parabellum/9x19 - not both.

I'm not going to comment on the price because soxrock75 already did...

40 is the model, 9mm is the caliber. Smith and Wesson is no longer offering the rebate, and tax would bring the total cost, assuming 489/479 at Four seasons, up over 500.

Your asking price is too high...
Look at Bass Pro Shops, they have them on sale for $349.88 M&P 9mm($389.99 reg. price)

M&P is the model name

the 9/.40/.357SIG/.45 following the "M&P" designates the caliber. a S&W M&P.40 in 9mm neither exists nor makes sense

as far as the price, i wont call you out on what others are charging for the same item. its your business and yours alone what you charge for an item your selling and i dont begrudge you that. but dont be shocked and shaken if nobody goes for it...

1. M&P9 is what you have for sale.
2. The rebate is back on now at $30 vice $50
3. The Bass Pro shop price above is for a S&W Sigma9VE NOT an M&P, the photo in the flyer is in error

Dude!
Check this out:
http://www.fsguns.com/used/

They have a M&P like new for $399. Since yours is 9mm I'll give you $375 cash and provide the FA-10 and a $20 Target Gift card!
