Hiring process at Bristol County Jail and House of Correction

I stumbled across this site and thought that many of you would be able to offer helpful opinions and advice.

If anyone has gone through this process and would like to share their experience or any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

After applying at Bristol County Jail and House of Correction, my husband went for an interview. It appeared to have gone well considering he was asked to come back and complete the finger printing process. Not long after, a trip was made to our home as well as a few neighbors. A few of his references were contacted as well. We thought for sure everything was going well but have not been contacted since. After doing much research, I've come to the conclusion that if there were no intentions of hiring him, there would be a letter sent to our home address and that perhaps in the future he will be contacted. Am I correct? Again, any stories of personal experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Most agencies would send a letter in the event he was no logner being considered for employment. They dont tend to leave you on the hook wondering...

If they went through the trouble of conducting a thorough background check, one would believe he is still being considered for the position. Sometimes no news is good news.

Good luck
